XPEL Stealth is a satin-finish paint protection film that transforms your vehicle’s appearance while protecting the paint against stone chips, road debris and light scratches.

How we protect your vehicle
Protection is only as good as the surface beneath it. Every vehicle is inspected and prepared at our studio before protection is applied. Film patterns are computer-cut on site using XPEL DAP rather than cut on the vehicle.
01
Assessment
Paint condition, mileage and how the car is used, so the right level of protection is recommended.
02
Preparation
Safe wash, chemical decontamination and machine polishing where the paint needs it — never more than necessary.
03
Installation
XPEL film is fitted using computer-cut patterns, with edges wrapped and tucked wherever the panel design permits. A PPF-compatible ceramic coating is then applied where selected.
04
Final inspection
The installation is checked under specialist lighting, the film and any coating are allowed to cure, and the vehicle is returned with detailed aftercare guidance.

Paint protection film FAQs
How much does XPEL PPF cost?
At our Wiltshire studio, XPEL PPF starts from £450 + VAT for front-bumper coverage, £1,400 + VAT for Front End, £1,800 + VAT for Performance and £3,800 + VAT for Full Car PPF. Final pricing depends on vehicle size, model complexity, coverage and film finish.
Is paint protection film worth the investment?
PPF can be a worthwhile investment for owners who want to preserve original paintwork and reduce the risk of stone chips and everyday damage. It is particularly useful on new, prestige, sports and performance vehicles, or for cars regularly driven on motorways, B-roads and track days. You can protect only the highest-impact areas or choose full-car coverage.
Which PPF package is best for driving around Swindon?
Front Bumper coverage protects the single most vulnerable area. Front End coverage adds the bonnet, front wings, headlights and mirrors. The Performance package extends protection to areas such as the A-pillars, roof edge, side skirts and luggage area. Full Coverage protects all exterior painted panels and suitable carbon-fibre accents. We can also create a bespoke package.
How long does XPEL PPF last?
XPEL Ultimate Plus and XPEL Stealth are backed by a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty. With correct installation and aftercare, the film provides long-term clarity and protection while helping preserve the paint beneath it.
Can PPF be installed on a used car?
Yes, provided the paintwork is suitable. Used vehicles are inspected before installation because existing stone chips, scratches or previous repairs may remain visible beneath the film. Panels are lightly polished to remove existing coatings before installation, while any additional paint correction or refinishing is quoted separately.
PPF or ceramic coating: which is better?
They protect against different types of damage. PPF provides a physical barrier against stone chips, scratches and road debris. Ceramic coating improves gloss, water repellency and ease of maintenance but does not provide the same impact protection. For broader protection, PPF can be applied to high-impact areas and ceramic coating added over the film and remaining paintwork.
Where is your PPF studio in relation to Swindon?
Our XPEL Certified studio is in Hilperton, approximately 45 minutes south of Swindon. All installations are completed inside our secure, purpose-built facility rather than as a mobile service.
How should I maintain paint protection film?
Use a pH-neutral shampoo and safe hand-washing techniques, and avoid automatic brush washes. Do not direct a pressure washer closely at film edges. Allow the film to cure fully after installation and follow the aftercare guidance supplied at collection. A PPF-safe ceramic coating can also be added to improve water repellency and make cleaning easier.
