How is professional detailing different from valeting?
Valeting focuses mainly on cleaning. Professional detailing goes further through paint decontamination, specialist inspection, machine polishing and correction before long-term protection is applied.
Which detailing package is right for my car?
The correct package depends on the vehicle’s age, paint condition and the finish you want to achieve. Use our package builder for a tailored price, or send us the vehicle details and photographs for an expert recommendation.
Can machine polishing remove scratches and swirl marks?
Machine polishing can permanently reduce or remove many swirl marks, wash marks, haze, oxidation and lighter scratches. Deeper damage may not be safe to remove completely, so the paint is inspected before work begins.
How long will my car be with you?
Most detailing packages take between one and three days. More intensive correction can take longer, and professionally applied coatings may need to cure inside the studio overnight.
Is ceramic coating included?
Coating is priced separately from the machine polishing so you can choose the level of protection you want. Options run from Gtechniq EXOv5 at around 18 months, through Crystal Serum Light with a five-year guarantee, up to Crystal Serum Ultra with a nine-year guarantee.
Is a deposit required to secure a detailing booking?
Yes. Once your package, final price and appointment date have been confirmed, a 10% deposit is required to secure the booking. No payment is needed to use the package builder or submit an enquiry, and the deposit is deducted from the final balance.
Do you offer mobile car detailing in Bath?
No. Paint correction, machine polishing and ceramic coating are completed at our secure, controlled studio in Hilperton, near Bath. Collection and delivery from Bath, station transfers and local transport assistance can be arranged where required.
