Top notch – Had my 911 ceramic coated and even though it’s a few years old, the results were really impressive – I was not sure how much of an improvement to expect but the end result was beyond my expectations. Thoroughly worthwhile and a very easy process throughout. Justin was very helpful and approachable, and the results speak for themselves. Highly recommended.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does a professional car detail include?
A professional car detail is a thorough, multi-stage service tailored to the vehicle’s condition. Our studio details typically include safe washing, chemical and physical decontamination, paint inspection and machine polishing or paint correction where required.
Ceramic coating and protection for the wheels, glass, interior and fabric convertible roof can also be added.
What is the difference between car detailing and valeting?
Car valeting mainly focuses on cleaning and maintaining the vehicle’s appearance. Professional car detailing goes further by decontaminating the paint, inspecting it under specialist lighting and using machine polishing or paint correction to improve defects, gloss and clarity.
Detailing is a more involved, condition-led service rather than a quick or routine clean.
Can car detailing remove swirl marks and scratches?
Machine polishing can permanently reduce or remove many swirl marks, wash marks, oxidation, haze and lighter scratches. The result depends on paint depth, paint hardness and the severity of each defect.
Deep scratches that have penetrated the colour coat may not be safe to remove completely. We inspect the paintwork first and recommend a realistic correction level without removing unnecessary clear coat.
Which car detailing package is right for my vehicle?
The right package depends on the age of the vehicle, its current paint condition and the finish you want to achieve.
– New or recently delivered car → New Car Detail & Protection
– Light swirl marks or haze → Level 1 Enhancement Detail
– Moderate paint defects → Level 2 Paint Correction Detail
– Heavier defects or the highest achievable finish → Level 3 Multi-Stage Detail
We provide a complimentary consultation to confirm the most appropriate option.
How long does professional car detailing take?
Most studio detailing packages take between one and three days, depending on the vehicle’s size, condition and the amount of paint correction required. More intensive correction work can take longer.
Where a ceramic coating is applied, the vehicle may need to remain inside overnight so the coating can cure before it is exposed to the weather.
Should I add a ceramic coating after machine polishing?
Adding a ceramic coating after machine polishing is one of the most effective ways to protect the refined finish. It provides longer-lasting protection than a traditional wax or paint sealant, improves gloss and makes routine washing easier.
A coating will not prevent stone chips or make the paint scratch-proof, but it will improve resistance to road grime and environmental contamination.
How should I maintain my car after detailing?
Use a pH-neutral car shampoo, safe wash methods and clean drying towels. Avoid automatic or brush car washes because they can reintroduce swirl marks and marring.
If your vehicle has a ceramic coating, periodic maintenance details help remove embedded contamination and restore hydrophobic performance.
Do you offer mobile car detailing?
No. All work is completed at our purpose-built detailing studio in Hilperton, Wiltshire, near Bath. A controlled, well-lit environment allows us to inspect paintwork accurately, use machine polishers safely and apply professional coatings under the correct conditions.
Vehicle collection and delivery, local station transfers and transport assistance can be arranged where required.
