BMW M3 GTS – Full PPF & Ceramic Coating Protection

We recently had the pleasure of working on this very low-mileage 2012 BMW M3 GTS (E92) in Fire Orange, which had a limited production run of roughly 138-150 units.

The vehicle has been owned by the same enthusiast from new and had Ventureshield paint protection film applied to the front end and side skirts shortly after purchase.

After 13 years of use, the original paint protection film was beginning to show its age. Early PPF patterns were far more limited than modern designs, resulting in visible edges and exposed paintwork that detracted from the car’s appearance. To address this, we professionally removed the existing PPF and replaced it with a modern, premium self-healing film, providing significantly improved coverage with tightly wrapped edges and a more seamless finish.

With the owner seeking the highest level of long-term protection for both exterior and interior surfaces, paint protection film (PPF) was the ideal solution – ensuring the vehicle remains preserved, protected, and visually flawless for years to come.

Full Exterior XPEL Paint Protection Film Installation

To provide maximum protection, we installed XPEL self-healing paint protection film across all painted exterior panels. This premium gloss PPF shields the BMW M3 GTS from:

Stone chips & road debris
Scratches and swirl marks
Environmental contamination
Every day wear and tear

In addition, we protected all interior carbon fibre trim using precision-cut PPF to prevent scuffs and marks in high-touch areas.

Once the film had fully settled, we applied Gtechniq Halo, a ceramic coating explicitly designed for use on paint protection films. This adds:
