Track Pack PPF and ceramic coatings on a Porsche 911 Turbo S
This 2021 Porsche 911 Turbo S (992) came to our Wiltshire studio for our Track Pack package: XPEL Ultimate Plus paint protection film on the panels that take the damage, finished with Titan ceramic coatings. A Turbo S covers ground quickly and the chips that come with that are the one kind of damage polishing cannot undo, so the owner chose to protect it properly from the start.
Where the film went
Film was installed to the complete front end, the side skirts and the rear bumper sections. That is everything the road throws forward, the stone chips that come up off the front wheels and run along the sills, and the scuffs a rear bumper collects from luggage and kerbs. The car went up on the ramp with the wheels covered so the sills and lower panels could be reached properly, and the edges were wrapped and tucked wherever the panel allows.
Why XPEL Ultimate Plus
Ultimate Plus takes the stone chips, scratches, scuffs, bird lime, road debris and weather that would otherwise land on the paint. It is self-healing, so light marks in the film’s own surface close up with heat rather than staying there, and it carries a 10-year warranty against yellowing and peeling. Patterns are computer-cut on site rather than cut on the vehicle, which keeps a blade away from the paint entirely. Coverage options across the range are set out on our Porsche paint protection page.
Titan Zeus over the paint and film
Titan ceramic coatings were applied over the paint and the film once it had settled. Film takes the impacts, the coating handles everything else: dirt has less to hold on to, water sheets off instead of sitting, and the car comes clean without aggressive chemicals or hard contact.
